Don't Take the Cake
A dystopian story of losing liberty.
Liberty has been charged with the crime of upholding the Constitution of the United States.
As tales of heroes tell us, there's a time of self-questioning and doubt about whether or not they can take a stand. Liberty questions whether to keep standing for freedom or not. What will she do?
As the division and fighting continues, Liberty kneels to pray for healing of the country and people she loves. She prays for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
The people begin to realize that we all need liberty. They've come together to help Liberty take a stand. They realize we need her for our future generations. Our children, the children of this nation, need all of us to stand together for liberty and our Constitutional Republic, or they'll never know the freedom that was their birthright. They'll never know the power that is inherent in each of them, given by Nature's God. But is it too late?
The "marble cakers" have been working tenaciously for generations to eventually poison our beloved Liberty. She succumbs to the dark side as she drops her layer-cake Federalism and accepts the single layer cake way of life.
Now she's ready to serve the children, not a Constitutional Republic that protects their rights and grants them freedom, but gives them a new order that'll strip them of their inherent power and independence.
Liberty offers the marble cake to all, as she goes down in flames. The fire lit by the very torch that once inspired a country and the world to seek freedom and independence. A light that once represented the path to a way of life where the power was with the people and not big government and globalists.
